DAM Center 2

So much half-stitch lace – about 9 feet of it. I am happy to finally get into the lace design of the center panel. Thankfully, since I spent a lot of time doing the pattern test in silk thread, I know the stitch design pretty well.

I’ve already come up with techniques to compensate for using plastic strips and working vertical on a peg board. Take a look at the pictures and you will see many clothes pins on top of the lace. This helps hold the lace on the board. Otherwise, it tends to lift off the pegs. With the lace pressed against the back of the board, it will also keep the proper sizing.
