I fell in love with this frame when I saw it on someone’s lawn at a yard sale, about a decade ago. It oozes beauty and interest. The frame has been hanging on my wall ever since. I knew it needed some thing perfect…something incredibly special. I wouldn’t settle…so, it simply stayed empty.
My incredible patience paid off. The silk pattern-prototype is absolutely perfect in the frame. Michael made two bone bobbins in the same pattern as the hanger on the larger piece, which you will see later. The lace and bobbins really fill out the framed area well. Plus, I feel the beautiful lace – grand frame combination is perfect for the Denver Art Museum. 🙂
