As previous posts have demonstrated, I was in desperate need of a lace finishing class. Thankfully, the International Organization of Lace (IOLI) offered a lot of online classes for convention this year. They cleverly called it the UnCon. The classes were hosted by The Lace Museum. This non-profit started online education when the pandemic started, so it all ran smoothly.

The wonderful teacher, Martina Wolter-Kampmann, had us make many different patterns, so we could learn to finish a variety of bobbin lace. I gained a great understanding of using magic threads to pull the ends back into the lace. It really worked well. Although we did not finish any point ground lace, hopefully, I will have an easier time.
