The rose has been fun, but challenging. I found an error on the left petal…it was more of an oversight than an error. That did not change the panic I felt when I could not move forward. I like to plan exactly where my bobbins should be going, and I found a spot where the movement/direction did not make sense to me. Thankfully, I forged on and it worked out.
Unfortunately, what didn’t work out was the finishing, again. It is infinitely frustrating to get through an entire piece only to have the final part seemingly ruin the rest. Perhaps, it is not completely ruined, but it is disheartening.
I learned a lot when designing and working the rose cloth trail. I am glad I did it, but will probably go back to my comfort zone of geometric designs.
