As it turns out, the “powers that be” also want the silk pattern test of the extra large lace. Even if I re-pin the center panel, it will not look the way I want it to. So, I needed to remake the center piece. It was certainly easier to make this time, since I already perfected the pattern.
In the picture above, you can see the original center panel on the right-hand side. It does not look nearly as good as the remade piece. When the panels are put together with the new center (pic below), you can see the pattern matches up to flow nicely between the three pieces.
