While I have been making bobbin lace for about 7 years, I have never written about it…until now 🙂

In an effort to educate a wider audience about bobbin lace, I posted on TikTok. I love the variety of topics on TikTok. With everything from artistry, dance, spoken word, encouragement, construction, cleaning, first-hand news accounts, and everything in-between, I felt like bobbin lace had a place on the platform. Thankfully, I was right. I went from never posting (only observing) with 2 followers, to 1000 followers and many likes within a few days.

One thousand may seem like a small amount of followers, but in the bobbin lace world where in-person demonstrations are the main outreach, 1000 people seeing bobbin lace made is astounding! I will joyously start here and keep going.
